Turbo manifold and header mockup blocks for 1.5" NPS schedule 10 pipe

The entry point into the Bendlabs system in our larger pipe size, matched to 1.5" NPS SCH10S (48.3mm OD). 73 magnetic mockup blocks cover a single manifold or header on a larger displacement or higher power build, where primary diameter is stepped up to suit the flow. Route it in plastic, confirm it fits, then cut stainless knowing the design already works.

• Route a complete manifold or header in 1.5" NPS pipe before cutting anything
• Suit larger displacement and higher power builds needing more primary area
• Balance primary lengths by counting blocks
• Model the merge collector and confirm the collector angle before you cut

Pipe compatibility

Matched to 1.5" NPS schedule 10S stainless pipe, 48.3mm outside diameter. Pipe is sized by nominal bore rather than outside diameter, so 1.5" NPS pipe is not interchangeable with 1.5" OD mandrel bent tube. If you are building in tube, this is not the right kit.

Header and manifold mockup, step by step

1. Mount the flange adapters to your head flange or turbo flange
2. Snap bends and straights together, rotating each joint to clear obstructions
3. Adjust until every primary is routed and the lengths are balanced
4. Count your blocks for the cut list, then cut, tack and TIG weld to match

FAQs

Should I be building in 1.25" or 1.5" NPS?
Primary diameter follows displacement, target power and where you want the torque. 1.25" NPS suits most four cylinder builds. 1.5" NPS suits larger displacement and higher power, where the smaller size would restrict flow.

Can I use this to design an exhaust header?
Yes, provided you are building in pipe. These blocks match 1.5" NPS schedule 10 pipe, not mandrel bent tube sized by outside diameter.

Is 73 pieces enough?
Yes, for a single manifold or header with a straightforward routing. Convoluted layouts in tight bays may need a bend pack on top.

Can I add to this kit later?
Yes. Straights and 30, 45 and 90 degree bends are all sold as add-on packs in this same 1.5" NPS SCH10S size, so you can top up whichever angle you run short on.
