Turbo manifold and header mockup blocks for 1.25" NPS schedule 10 pipe

The entry point into the Bendlabs system, sized for a single four cylinder turbo manifold or exhaust header in 1.25" NPS SCH10S pipe (42.2mm OD). 73 magnetic mockup blocks give you enough bends and straights to route all four primaries into a collector, check them against the block, turbo flange and steering shaft, and settle the design before you cut any stainless. If you have only ever built by eye and offcut, this is the kit that changes how you work.

What it does

• Route a complete four cylinder manifold or header in plastic before cutting schedule 10 pipe
• Balance primary lengths by counting blocks instead of estimating
• Design equal length headers where primary length actually matters to the powerband
• Model the merge collector and confirm the collector angle before you cut
• Find clearance problems on the bench rather than halfway through a weld
• Produce an exact cut list so you order the right bends first time

Pipe compatibility

Matched to 1.25" NPS schedule 10S stainless pipe, 42.2mm outside diameter. Pipe is sized by nominal bore rather than outside diameter, so 1.25" NPS pipe is not interchangeable with 1.25" OD mandrel bent tube. If you are building in tube, this is not the right kit.

Header and manifold mockup, step by step

1. Mount the flange adapters to your head flange or turbo flange
2. Snap bends and straights together, rotating each joint to clear obstructions
3. Adjust until every primary is routed and the lengths are balanced
4. Count your blocks for the cut list, then cut, tack and TIG weld to match

FAQs

Can I use this to design an exhaust header?
Yes, as long as you are building in pipe. These blocks are dimensioned for 1.25" NPS schedule 10 pipe, the standard material for turbo manifolds and plenty of naturally aspirated header builds. If you are building in mandrel bent tube sized by outside diameter, such as 1 5/8" or 1 3/4", the blocks will not match your material.

Is 73 pieces enough for a four cylinder manifold?
Yes, for a straightforward four cylinder layout. Tight engine bays needing heavily convoluted primaries may use more, in which case add a bend pack or step up to the 136pc BUILDER kit.

Can I add to this kit later?
Yes. Straights and 30, 45 and 90 degree bends are all sold as add-on packs in the same 1.25" NPS SCH10S size, so you can top up whichever angle you run short on.

What is the difference between 1D and 1.5D CLR?
1D bends are tight and useful in cramped bays. 1.5D bends flow better and suit longer sweeping primaries. Both are included.
