TIG tungsten holder with a magnetic, colour-coded lid

Keep your tungstens sorted, straight and clean in one tube. There are separate compartments for 1.6, 2.4 and 3.2 mm, one for used tungstens, and a closed position for when it goes in the toolbox. Turn the lid to the compartment you want: it clicks into place at each one, so only that compartment is open. Pick the lid colour to match the tungsten type you keep in it.

What it does

  • Five positions: 1.6 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.2 mm, USED, and closed (line the arrow on the lid up with the triangle on the tube)
  • Magnetic lid: turn it and it clicks into line at every compartment
  • Magnetic base: stands on your welding table or bench and stays put
  • Takes full-length 175 mm tungstens with the lid shut
  • Five-sided body that will not roll off the bench, with every compartment labelled on the side
  • The lid is screwed on, so it cannot come off and spill your tungstens

Colour-coded lids

The lid colours follow the standard tungsten tip colours, and the type is pressed into the side of the lid, so you can see at a glance which tube is which.

Good to know

Let a tungsten cool before you put it away: a hot tungsten will mark the plastic.
